In 2002, David completed his PhD at Imperial College London working in the research group that invented and developed the SB-QWSC. His research interests have included strain-balancing, DBRs and light trapping as applied to the QWSC and he has co-authored 25 technical and conference papers on the subject.
David joined QuantaSol in March 2008 after four years working in R&D for semiconductor manufacturer International Rectifier.
